Madeleine Greey

Public Speaker

Madeleine loves a microphone and an audience.  Her two main topics are diverse - food and disability issues – but she’s comfortable and knowledgeable in both fields.  As author of Get Fresh! and nutrition columnist for Today’s Parent magazine, Madeleine has talked to audiences across Canada about the big, flavourful world of fruits and vegetables.  Whether it’s tips on how to store your apples or timely research on childhood nutrition, Madeleine can tailor a speech for any type of audience.   Parenting her daughter with special needs has parachuted Madeleine into the world of disabilities.  In 1993 she was asked to write a trade book entitled Honouring Diversity, published by Centennial Infant and Child Centre.  This book helps infant workers develop effective cross-cultural communication skills when working with families of children with disabilities.
